Project Lookout was filmed during an off-roading trip to Cape Lookout National Seashore. This video is about friendship, freedom, and the memories my friends and I made before leaving for college. I wanted it to feel adventurous and personal, a moment in life that I could look back on and remember clearly. Through this project, I learned more about editing beach footage, using music, and making a video feel like a real memory instead of just clips put together.

The Flatirons video is from a trip I took to Boulder, Colorado, with my mom last summer. This project is more calm and peaceful, and it reminds me of being outside and seeing a place that felt completely different from home. I wanted the video to show the beauty of the mountains and the time I got to spend with my mom. While editing, I focused more on timing, pacing, and making the video feel natural.

Side View Mirror was filmed during my drive home from Leesburg, Virginia, after a flight lesson. This video is about aviation, sunsets, and the feeling of leaving behind a part of my life as I work toward my PPL. I wanted the mirror to act like a frame inside the video, showing the sunset in a different way and reflecting on the memories I made durring that time of my life. This project helped me think more about composition and how small everyday moments can still feel meaningful.

California Kodiak Trip was filmed on a road trip from San Luis Obispo, CA to Bellingham, WA. This video is to remember the time I spent alongside my brother as we pushed up from California in two days, including a 21-hour day of driving. We stopped at Crater Lake National Park, passed over the Golden Gate Bridge, and drove through some of the most serene areas of California, Oregon, and Washington state. At most parts of this trip- if our phones weren't already dead- we rarely had cell service, resulting in hours of screen-free conversation and the ability to enjoy the scenery as it rolled by.
