Introduction
My name is William Sheehan, and I’m a high school senior. A lot of who I am comes from the things I love most, including flying, being outside, taking photos, making videos, and working on cars and trucks. Aviation has become a huge part of my life, and I spend a lot of time training as a student pilot and working toward my future as a pilot.Because I spend so much of my time focused on goals and the future, I often find myself letting life pass by without fully appreciating it. That is one of the reasons I got into photography. It helps me slow down and pay attention to the things around me. Photography reminds me that life is something to be experienced and enjoyed, not just spent thinking about what's next.

I am currently a high school senior, and after graduation I will be attending the University of Alaska Anchorage to study Professional Piloting. Aviation has been one of my biggest passions since I was 10 years old, and I plan to continue my flight training while exploring the wilderness in Alaska. Flying has taught me responsibility, confidence and discipline, and it is something I hope will always be a major part of my life.
Interests
Interests
Some of my main interests are flying, photography, and videography. I enjoy being able to capture the things that make life memorable. That could be a sunset after a flight lesson, a road trip with my closest friends, a mountain landscape, or a moment that would otherwise be forgotten. Photography and videography allow me to preserve experiences and the emotions that come with them in a way that nothing else really can. Looking back at a photo or video can bring back an entire memory, and I love being able to share those moments with other people.
Equipment
Equipment
For photography, I use a Fujifilm X-T50 as my main camera with a FUJIFILM XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 R LM WR lens. I use it to take photos for my portfolio and personal projects. I have a DJI Air 3S that I use for wider, establishing shots as well. I use photo and video editing software to finish my work and bring my ideas into reality.
